What's in Supercharge

Supercharge

Supercharge is the part of Settings that holds Newton's extra features: read receipts, Recap, Snooze, Tidy Inbox, Templates and the MCP Server. Today, Recap is the only one that needs Newton Pro.

Steps

Desktop

  1. Open Settings: press ⌘, on Mac, or Ctrl+, on Windows and Linux.
  2. Go to the Supercharge tab.
  3. Choose a feature from the list on the left.

iPhone, iPad & Android

  1. Open the menu and tap the Settings gear at the bottom.
  2. Tap Supercharge.
  3. Tap a feature.

What's inside

Read receipts show you when someone opens an email you sent. Turn them on for every email, or for one email at a time. Turn on read receipts

Recap gives you one list a day of replies you owe, emails that never got an answer, and dates coming up. It needs Newton Pro. What is Recap?

Snooze hides an email until a time you pick. In Supercharge you can change the time behind each snooze option. Snooze an email

Tidy Inbox keeps promotions, social updates and Outlook's "Other" mail out of your Inbox, in Low Priority. You set it per account, and you can choose senders that always go to one or the other. Tidy Inbox and Low Priority

Templates save emails you write often, so you can insert them while you compose. Templates

MCP Server connects an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your Newton account so it can search, read, organize and send email for you. Connect Newton to Claude or ChatGPT (MCP)

Good to know

  • The desktop and mobile apps list the same six features in a different order.
  • Your Supercharge settings, such as snooze times, templates and Tidy Inbox, apply on all your devices.
  • On Newton Free, Recap shows an upgrade option where its on/off switch would be.
