Newton is the rare email app that works great on both Windows and Mac.
While I'm excited to see what kind of work Google continues to do with Gmail, I don't see myself leaving Newton anytime soon.

FAQs
Is the Free plan really free forever?
Yes. Free is a full email client with no time limit. We charge for power features — unlimited read receipts, high AI volume, team collaboration — not for the basics.
What counts as an AI action?
One request to Newton's AI — a Today triage pass or a Compose draft/rewrite. Free includes 20 a day, Pro and Team include 200 a day per person. The counter resets every 24 hours.
How do read receipts work?
When you send a tracked email, Newton tells you when it's opened — per recipient, so on group emails you know exactly who has seen it. Free includes 15 tracked emails a month; Pro and Team are unlimited.
What's the difference between a shared thread and a Shared Inbox?
A shared thread is one conversation you invite someone into — great for looping in a colleague on a single deal or ticket. A Shared Inbox (Team plan) is an entire mailbox — like support@ — that your whole team works from together.
Which email providers does Newton support?
Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, and any IMAP provider — including iCloud, Yahoo, and Fastmail. All plans support every provider.
Can I cancel or switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades at the end of your billing period. Your data is never deleted when you downgrade — if you have more than 2 accounts on Free, you choose which 2 stay active and the rest pause until you pick again or upgrade.
How does Team billing work?
Team is billed per seat with a 2-seat minimum. Add a seat and you're charged the prorated amount for the current period; remove one and the credit applies to your next invoice.
Is my data safe?
Your mail syncs between your devices and your email provider. Sign-in uses OAuth — we never see your password — and stored credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. We don't sell data. Our only business model is the subscription.
