I’m double tapping pictures

Instagram is one product that makes me happy. Whenever I have some time, I thumb through the feed and keep double tapping (or double click on desktop) on pictures I like. It’s so nice and effortless. I’m so used to this behavior that I’m now double tapping pictures on other apps also like Facebook and Unsplash and getting frustrated when they react differently. I’m clearly addicted to Instagram. It’s become my habit. I’m love-locked.

When our users write to us saying after getting used to Newton, they find it tough working with other email apps, I gloat. When they say they feel happy and relaxed and productive when using Newton, I gloat. I’m happy because this is what we started off to achieve and we have just started. There’s more nice things we are working on for people to get even more used to, and I’m excited.

I want to build a product like Instagram with all its beauty, modernity, simplicity, niceness and effortlessness. I want our users to be love-locked, like me.
