Send later schedules an email to go out at a time you choose. Newton's server sends it, so Newton doesn't need to be open and your phone or computer can be off.
Steps
Desktop
In the compose window, click the clock button (Schedule send) at the top.
Choose Later today, Tomorrow morning or Monday morning. Or pick a date and time, then click Schedule.
The send button now says Schedule. Click it.
To change or cancel a scheduled email, go to Sent and click Scheduled at the top of the list. Each email has buttons for Send now, Edit and Cancel scheduled send.
iPhone, iPad & Android
Write your email, then touch and hold the Send button at the top right. A quick tap sends it right away, so keep holding until the menu opens.
Tap Send later, then choose Later Today, Tomorrow, Monday, Next Week or Custom.
Tap Schedule. With Custom, pick the date and time first.
To change or cancel a scheduled email, go to Sent and tap the bar at the top that shows how many are scheduled (for example, 2 scheduled). Open the email and tap Send now, or tap ••• for Edit or Delete.
Good to know
If an email can't be sent, Newton tries again a few times over about 20 minutes. If it still fails, it stays in Scheduled marked as failed (Couldn't send on your phone), and Pulse on desktop tells you. Use Send now or Edit to try again.
If sending was interrupted and the email may already have gone out, Newton won't send it again on its own. Check your Sent folder before you send it again.
Editing a scheduled email on desktop removes its attachments, so add them again. On your phone, attachments are kept but can't be changed.
Removing an email account cancels its scheduled emails.
