Archive an email to clear it from your Inbox, delete it to move it to Trash, star it to find it later, or mark it as read or unread. If you change your mind, undo right away: press Z on desktop, or tap Undo on your phone.

Or right-click the email and choose Archive, Delete, Star, or Mark as read / Mark as unread.

To undo, tap Undo on the message that appears.
Good to know
Delete moves an email to Trash; it isn't gone for good until Trash is emptied.
Actions apply to the whole conversation. If you turn off Group emails into conversations, they apply to single emails.
A star in Newton is a flag in Outlook.
Opening an email marks it as read, unless you've turned off Auto mark as read.
