I am not very lucky when it comes to technology. Although that has been improving in the last years: my phones last a lot longer and my laptop is like a warrior hanging in for dear life. But with cameras I have always had a lot of bad luck. I remember my first camera ever: a super basic small point and shoot . My sister got the same one. I remember that I broke mine first and then inherited hers. The lenses just came all out in my and in hers there is a system fault and neither worked again.
Because I have always had this love affair with photography, when I got older I asked for a semi-professional camera for my birthday. A Sony intermediate point and shoot. How happy I was! It was the best thing ever. And because I loved it, I took very good care of it. And on NEW YEAR’S EVE, when I turned it on to take the very first photo of the night, the lenses simply came all out and the camera never turned on again. System error it said. It was a trauma. I still have that camera, even after two years of it breaking, because for a long time I thought I would fix it. But I now know it’s not worth it. After that one, I felt like I could evolve to a professional camera and I have been dreaming about this Canon D7 for the longest time. But those ones are very expensive and sometimes I don’t even have money to eat haha. There was this one day that I just went crazy and went to a store…
