Newton blocks the tracking pixels it recognizes in the email you receive. These tiny hidden images tell a sender when you open their email. You can also hide all remote images until you choose to load them.
Steps
Desktop
Open Settings: press ⌘, on Mac, or Ctrl+, on Windows and Linux.
Go to the General tab.
Under Images & Privacy, set Load remote images to Always, Ask or Never.
Switch Block tracking pixels on or off.
When images are hidden, an email shows Images are hidden to protect your privacy. Click Load images to show them in that email.
iPhone, iPad & Android
Open the menu and tap the Settings gear at the bottom.
Tap General.
Under Privacy, set Remote images to Always, Ask or Never.

Good to know
By default, remote images load (Always) and tracking pixels are blocked.
Today, Ask and Never work the same way: images stay hidden until you load them in that email.
Loading images never loads the blocked tracking pixels. The email shows how many were blocked, for example "2 tracking pixels blocked".
Before you open a link that uses an IP address, a link shortener or an unusual domain, Newton warns you with Suspicious Link Detected on desktop or Suspicious Link on phones. Choose Open anyway only if you trust it.
