On iOS and Android, IMAP accounts sync natively on the phone rather than relaying through a Newton server. - Newton does not store your mailboxes. Message content stays on your devices and with your email provider. - Today analyzes message metadata only — sender, subject, and snippet. It stores a compact priority verdict and never message content. - The desktop Agent runs inference on the user's own local Claude Code installation and login. There is no Newton API key, hosted gateway, or Newton quota involved, and the Agent is read-only. ## Links - [Changelog](https://newton.userjot.com/updates): monthly release notes, most current source for what has shipped - [Feedback board](https://newton.userjot.com/): feature requests and bug reports - [Blog](https://newtonhq.com/blogs): announcements and background - [Help Center](https://newtonhq.com/help): documentation and support articles - [About](https://newtonhq.com/about-us): company background - [Privacy Policy](https://newtonhq.com/privacy-policy) - [Terms of Service](https://newtonhq.com/terms-of-service) - Contact: hello@newtonhq.com - [Twitter/X](https://twitter.com/newtonmailapp)
